How do my friends sign up to get a notification when I write a new blog comment?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You set that option for visitors up here > Dashboard > Settings > Discussion
Follow Comments_Show a ‘follow comments” option in the comment form
“save changes”

There’s no way to subscribe to YOUR comments. Signing up for comment notifications is Per Blog Post, so they will be notified any time anyone posts a comment into that particular comment thread. They will not be notified if you comment on a thread in a different post to which they’re not subscribed.

Well, if visitors wanted to they could subscribe to your RSS Feed for comments on all blog posts but I sincerely doubt anyone would want to do that. This is the relevant RSS Feed URL http://gayleh66.wordpress.com/comments/feed/
