-
Trying to make it where people can subscribe to my blog. I have the subscribe link up and it asks for their email address. But then they never receive a confirmation email nor can i see them under my subscriptions area.
I’m brand new to this so i chances are im just missing it, or im confused about how it works.
any help is appreciated. Thanks

I’ve successfully subscribed to your blog with my email address (Gmail, not WP.com account). I’ll remove it after you reply.
If you haven’t already, please see “Subscription Statistics & Removing Subscribers.”
- If your subscribers are not WordPress.com users, please have them check their spam folder, then whitelist WordPress.com in their email account.
- If your subscribers are WordPress.com users, it’ll also appear in the Subscriptions tab on the WordPress.com homepage. (Managing My Blog Subscriptions)
Does that help?

Thanks I do see where you were successful. I want my organization to be updated on the blog, but so far none of them have been able to subscribe, that i can see in the subscription area, just wondering if maybe they have to set up a word press account in order to get the updates on my blog.

Sounds like the people trying to subscribe to your blog may not be getting the subscription activation link by email. I would recommend that they contact their email provider and ask them how to make sure email from WordPress.com is always allowed through to their inbox.

I think maybe it is Hotmail and msn. I used my hotmail account and never received the confirmation email. I then tried my gmail and it was there immediately.
thanks for all the help and suggestions!
