    How do I buy my domain from GoDaddy? Also, I heard there was no cost through wordpress for a domain? Lastly what will be annual costs through word press?

    For help buying a domain from GoDaddy, you’ll need to contact GoDaddy support. GoDaddy is a completely different company from WordPress.com, and we’re not able to help you with their processes.

    If you want to use the domain here on WordPress.com, you will need to upgrade to one of our paid plans. You can find all our plans and their cost here:

    All our annual plans include one free domain for the first year. From the second year on you’ll pay separately to renew the domain.

    Note that if you buy your domain from GoDaddy and point it here instead, you’ll still need one of our paid plans to make use of our domain connection upgrade:
