How do they count blog stats?

  Does anybody know how the blog stats count works? Do they count the unique visitors or page views? What if they are using the same IP address?

  Page views are what are counted, not unique visitors. If one person comes to your blog and visits 5 pages, you get 5 hits.

  Everyone who sees Angela, willing or unwilling, is counted. Angela is the weird little smiley you may notice on your blog from time to time. Every time she’s viewed, that’s one hit. And she’s on every post and page of your blog.
