How do we begin to set up the web page?

  We bought the premium version in September 2014. We set up a blog page. Now we want to make a proper web site that includes the blog. The 5 steps on the get started page are not helpful. How do we create the front/home page? We know the content we wish to include, but cannot figure out how to get started.

  so I created a new page and titled it Home as per the instructions. However, where on earth is the link to the Site customiser on that Home page so I can set up the static front page. this is soooooo frustrating!

  now all my posts on the blog have disappeared. Where are they? have I lost them all?
