How do we Change/Remove Text in Header SubHeader
-
How can we make changes to the Text in our Custom Headers?
I would like to change the Header and Sub Header. Thanks – Nolan

dashboard -> options
edit the first two options on that page. (this is if you have a wp.com blog.) -
Hey,
I’m not too sure all themes allow that, but the overall header text should be under Dashboard -> Options and Blog title or Tagline.
If you’re after changing the colour/look of it, have a look in Dashboard -> Presentation -> Header. If the option isn’t there then it’s most likely because the theme you’re using doesn’t support custom headers:

Yes I have a wp.com account. But I cannot make any changes to the text???? This seems like such a rudimentary task. I want to change the Header and Subheader, why does the system make it so difficult or impossible???
This has to be wrong?!! PLEASE HELP!! I’m sinking fast…..

Hello Mark, I was told at a conference that there were lots of changes to your software; so I was hoping this was one of them. All I need to do is change the text. We have gone through lots of changes and will be offering lots of information about Electronics, so we want to make changes to our Blog’s Main Title.

Thanks for anything you can do. BTW, how have you been (We met at a conference last year – I think it was Startup Camp, but I’m not 100% certain it was that event)? Take care.

I think I found it. As written above, in “Options” under my Main Header.
Thank you Sulz!!!!!

On this page:

You can hide the text. It is not possible to restyle the text in any way or move it around. I would advise you redo the header image and put text into that instead.I was at WordCamp in San Francisco if that’s the one?

Thanks Mark, I see what you mean. I will make those changes.
Yes, it was the camp in SF. Are you going to CES??
Cheers,
Nolan
