How do we contact the owner of an existing domain name?

  I’m currently part of an organization looking to register as simplymobilizing.wordpress.com, however, we find that the domain name has already been taken. A few months ago, we’d worked with a couple of people on test sites, and we’re sure that whoever registered simplymobilizing as a domain name is one of ours. No one at the office, however, seems to be able to remember doing so.

  Is there a way we can possibly know the email address that’s attached to simplymobilizing.wordpress.com? That way, we can figure out if one of our people did register the name, or at least send a message to whoever owns it if we can use the domain name? (Nothing is currently being posted on the site and has been that way for several weeks now.)

  Would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.

  No – you are on your own – WordPress.COM will not breach privacy standards – leave a comment on the blog and hope the comments are set to Moderate and the owner is notified –
