How do we designate rotating photos/stories for top of Broadsheet premium theme?

In Broadsheet premium theme, how do we control the sliding photo images at the top of the page? We thought we could just designate certain news stories with the “webpage slider” category, and the photos with those stories would be the ones that endlessly scroll across the top of the page. But only one of the stories we have designated for the webpage slider is actually appearing there. The others are a handful of stories from two years ago — it is making our newspaper web page look dated. Please help.

Hello there, Mr. Harrison,
It appears as if you have not yet set up Featured Images for your latest two posts. Could you please add those, and see if those new posts now appear in your slider?
Your theme will ignore any posts that do not have Featured Images assigned, and no matter what date they’re published, they will not appear on your slider.
