  How to block a follower

  Can I block a troublesome follower? I have disabled comments, but want to know if there is a way of blocking or disallowing a follow?

  No one you ignore can ever be “troublesome”. We cannot block or delete subscribers from public blogs. Everyone on the internet can view and follow any public blog. That is in fact what the public designation means.

  Note that you have complete control over everything that’s posted to your blog.

  What if the problem is a person who is reposting my blogs and giving her oppinoin of my mental statuis. She is not a theripist! She is an angry boat captain who i had to call the police on for assult and stealing my passport!

  You have two options, and I would take both of them:

  1) call the police who handled your previous case and report her to them as an online stalker. They will be DELIGHTED to have something new on her if they’re like the cops I know.

  2) go to her blog and use the drop down Report As Abusive feature and if that doesn’t work within a week file a DMCA takedown notice: http://manolofood.com/whine-journalism-and-how-to-bring-the-splashback/ You can send it to court-orders @ wordpress.com
