From my home page:

Site idenity
colors

content options
CSS
widgets
AMPbut none appear to be able to change the cover photo on my site – I dont want the phone! ;-(
I would add a screen shot but it will not let me.

It looks like you’re using the Twenty Nineteen theme. The cover photo you’re seeing is probably the featured image of a post, possibly one that was added as a placeholder while you set up your site. If you edit that post (or delete it and create a new one) and set the featured image for that post as your image of choice, it should change the cover photo to that.

Hey there, I see the site pcs2019cz.wordpress.com using the Modern Business theme. You can learn about working with this theme here: https://wordpress.com/theme/modern-business
In order to change your site’s header image, go to Site>Pages in your Dashboard and click on the three dots on the right side of the Page Title >Edit. Once in the Editor, click on the image and you’ll see a editing bar open at the top. To change the image, click on the Pencil icon to select or upload and select a new image.
This theme uses the new Block Editor to maximize your content and you can learn more about using it here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/
Hope that helps, but let us know if you have any other question on this.
