How do you change default fonts on Argent Theme

  Hello,

  I’m building a website using the Argent Theme and I would like to change the default fonts of the theme. Is there any way I can do that either by adding a Custom CSS or modifying the theme CSS directly?

  I’m not a CSS expert so any help would be appreciated

  Hello

  Yes, you can change the fonts of your blog. I suggest you to read the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-fonts/

  You’ll have to have a Premium plan to use the custom fonts:

  Custom Fonts are part of Custom Design, included with the WordPress.com Premium and WordPress.com Business plans. It allows you to easily change the fonts that appear on your blog in a few clicks—no coding required.

  tomcorradini, are you hosting your own site, rather than using WordPress.com? If that’s the case, you can either install a Google Fonts plugin or use one of the techniques here.

  If you’re hosting your site here on WordPress.com, head to the Customizer’s Fonts panel and you’ll see a selection of fonts you can chose from as your base or headings font.

  pedger – thanks for linking to that page! Since July, we’ve offered a set of free fonts on WordPress.com in addition to the Typekit fonts that require one of our paid plans, so that support document needs to be updated – we’ll take care of that soon. :)

  Hi Kathrynwp (I’ll buy a vowel). Thank you very much for your answer. That’s exactly what I was looking for. Indeed I am hosting my own site and I just couldn’t figure out how to change the set fonts. Thanks again. I’ll follow your advice.
