How do you change the background color of your blog?

  Dear WordPress.com Users,
  I recently signed up for wordpress.com and I made a blog, http://www.clubpenguinicheats.wordpress.com
  I would like to change the dull, gray background though. I cannot edit my CSS, because I haven’t upgraded it. I was wondering if you could change your blog’s background color WITHOUT CSS? I’m new to wordpress so excuse my dumbness.

  Yes. You can use the Themes Showcase live demo site where there are feature filters in the search utility. You can use them to find the themes that allow for custom background images and or colors. http://theme.wordpress.com/
