How do you change the background (on basic user) from white on the Espied Theme?

How do you change the background (on basic user) of the main text area (where blogs live) from white on the ‘Espied Theme’ to say ‘Blue’ or ‘Light Grey’ without changing the theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
