How do you change the color of the text displayed in a sidebar dropdow list.

I defined a custom sidebar to contain a list of product categories in a dropdown menu from the widgets page. The dropdown has ‘Show as dropdown’ checked. The sidebar displays on targeted page but the text inside the dropdown is white and not visible unless I hover over the list of the items at which time an item in the list becomes visible. How do change the color of the text in dropdown? I using DIVI builder to build my pages but I am not sure if that matters or not. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for the help.The site is on my local system where I am trying to develop changes before I roll them out to a live system. I don’t have knowledge to safely allow people access to my local website.
if there is some way to send a screen shot(s) I can do this.
