How do you change the comfirmation notification of a Contact Form

  How do you change the confirmation notifications of a Contact Form? I followed the steps for the contact form and email notifications which work fine. However on the page itself after somebody enters in the info and hits submit it goes from:

  Name(required)
  Email(required)
  Address
  (with spaces to enter after each field)

  to
  Message Sent (go back) [links back to page]

  Name: text entered
  Email: text entered
  Address: text entered

  I would like to change it to just say “thank you for updating your information” and not have all that other info.

  I have a free version of the theme (Responsive) and don’t know if I need to upgrade to the paid version to make these changes or if it is locked since it is just using the “add contact form” from the menu on the page.

  Hi there,

  That confirmation message is standard across all WordPress.com sites and can’t be changed. However, I’ve passed along your feedback to our developers so they can keep that in mind as a possible feature for the contact form. :)
