How do you change the front color on Andrea Theme

  Sorry for the confusion.
  But I might: Right now before I click in the comment box, the text is a very dark grey on a dark blue background and is very difficult to see. How do I want to lighten the color of that text so people can actually read that label?

  Is there a way to change the subscription box background without changing the search background? The Css you provided changes both of the items. I only want to change the subscription. Thanks

  The second bit in my first response above today takes the color of the “Enter your comment here” text on the dark blue background to a light blue and I see you have that in there.

  To take only the subscription widget background to the body background color, give this a try.

  #sidebar form p {
  background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #00355F !important;
  }

  Thanks I was able to fix the boxes.

  The subscription widget I am still have trouble with. When I change the color the search box changes color too.

  This is present code:
  #searchform #s,#sidebar from p {
  margin-bottom:3px;
  background:#fff;
  color:#e02515;

  I added the new code and it change it search box from white to dark blue.

  First off, did you by chance paste the entire stylesheet into the CSS edit window? If so that introduces a lot of nasties.

  Make sure the following that we had added is gone from the CSS edit window.

  #searchform #s, #sidebar form p {
  background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #00355F;
  }

  Put this at the very bottom of all the CSS in your CSS edit window.

  #sidebar form p {
  background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #00355F !important;
  }

  The #searchform #s part of things is what is causing the searchform to take on the dark blue color. In the code directly above we are targeting ONLY the sidebar form p (which is the subscription widget).

  Also, I’ve left the text area in the subscription widget white like the search box. It makes it much easier for people to find where they are supposed to click and enter their email address to subscribe.

  One last thing, make sure and force refresh the preview page after making a change as it sometimes will not reflect the change. Not sure if this is a browser issue or a wordpress issue, or perhaps a little of both.

  Give this a try. I’ve used the darker blue of the body color for the text color.

  @scicompanies, when you make a new post, could you also tell us more about the script getting cut off? I’m not sure what you mean by that exactly. Do you mean subscription emails look blank to you or that only part of the message shows up?

  The images posted on blog are loosing their formatting when they show up in email (for subscribers). Images are showing up in large size where as the size on the blog post are properly formatted.
