How do you delete a title from a static page in the twenty thirteen template?

    I have searched online and I still cannot figure out how to remove the title ‘home’ from the static front page of http://stmaryschoolsherman.wordpress.com/. I am using the twenty thirteen template. Do I need a different template? I found a plug in that ought to work, but my template does not appear to have plug in options.

    This ought to be easy, but it isn’t.

    I also need to delete comment/leave a reply from the footer and add other text. I do hope that you can help me.

    You can adjust your CSS code to make this change. To do this, click Appearance → Customize in your site’s Dashboard. Then, click CSS in your right-hand menu. In the CSS Revisions box, please paste the following underneath all existing text:

    .wf-active .entry-title {
    display: none
    }

    Then Save your changes. That will hide the Page Titles.

    I also need to delete comment/leave a reply from the footer and add other text. I do hope that you can help me.

    In order to disable the comments/reply box, please follow the instructions listed here:

    If you would like to add text to your footer, you can do so by click Appearance → Widgets in your site’s Dashboard. Then, add a Text Widget into your Main Widget Area. You can add any text you’d like to that widget, then click Save. For more information about the Text Widget, take a look at:

    The title is gone. Thank you very much!

    However, instructions for disabling the comments/reply box don’t work. I don’t have a Discussion module on the edit screen for this page. It’s possible that I have already turned it off… but then I don’t know why the ‘leave a reply’ footer is still there. Any thoughts on this?

    Never mind! I found a place to turn off comments until bulk actions. Yay! Thanks again.
