How do you delete the WordPress Logo from the footer?

  I have been given the task to maintain this site by the previous admin. He told me that he paid money to you to allow the site to be free of any WordPress.com logos and he asked me to please delete the wordpress mention in the footer of the site. How do I do that?

  A No Ads upgrade was purchased, which removes the banner advertisements, but removing the WordPress.com credits in the footer would still be a violation of our terms of service.
