How do you display html snippet of a link on page
-
Pretty simple enough question I wish to show the <a href… code needed to link to my blog with a banner which people can link to. Have tried changing parts to ” instead of the character and have also tried permutations between visual and text aswell as trying the code tab and it either executes the html or it changes the text so that it no longer is what is needed.
Have been at this for a while, any tips? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Do you mean you you want to show a link which a reader can copy and paste into a browser bar? Just type in http://bigcomicpage.com/ and forget using the < a href part…

No I want to show the code without it actually executing so I would say something like “Feel free to link to is simply put the following onto your site: but every time I have tried eg changing putting it from text to visual or using the code tab or putting the character in as < instead of < but it changes how the text appears so it no longer resembles the snippet of HTML I want to display to the reader.
Any help is appreciated.
