How do you do save page drafts?
-
I understand how to save post drafts, but not page drafts. If I want to edit a published page over a number of days, there is no ‘save draft’ button. Can you please help? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Can you re-phrase the question? I’m having trouble understanding the purpose of wanting to save a page draft.
With all due respect :)
Thanks

Let’s say I edited the page for an hour, but wasn’t ready to publish it, then had to shut my computer and continue editing the next day. That’s why I would want to save a draft.

Go to Dashboard > Posts > All Posts and then click the Drafts link

Every time you create a post ot page you note that on the top right hand corner of the page is the Publish module and that is where you click the “save draft” link. To publish you click the “Publish” link. After editing you click the “update” link.
For creating a post see here http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/#publish-a-new-post
For creating a page see here

http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/edit-pages-screen/Provided you did not create the post in the new Beep Beep Boop editor where it’s saved only on your browser, and is not auto-saved to the servers for your blog you may be able to recover a lost post or page.
If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

To locate draft POSTS Dashboard > Posts > All Post > Drafts
http://pratimokcha.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=postTo locate draft PAGES Dashboard > Pages> All Pages > Drafts
http://pratimokcha.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=page(If you are referring to a Page then see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/page-revisions/)
If you cannot locate a revision or restore from Trash then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.
I recommend:
1. Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
2. Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
3. Immediately after creating a post and entering a title click the save draft link. Thereafter, “click save draft” frequently.
4. Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
5. Never leave a post or page open for content creation or editing and walk away from it, or open another tab in the same blog and work on something else while it is still open. Save it properly and return to edit it later.
6. Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/ -
I am sorry about the wrong links above. I used acopy and paste answer and I forgot to change the links to yours for your blog.

Thanks — that helps. I guess I was looking for a ‘Save Draft’ button on the page (I see it when creating posts), but I see there’s an autosave function. Appreciate the help!

Note what I said above about autosave please. The autosave does not work if you use the new Beep Beep Boop editor.
