How do you edit and order the images in a slideshow?

    The help page tells me to click on the slideshow in Visual mode until an edit box appears.
    On my visual page there is only the [slideshow] code. I have tried clicking on this but nothing happens. Any ideas how I can rectify the situation so I can edit my slideshow with ease.

    That’s the old shortcode. Replace it with the new one in the Text editor:
    [gallery type="slideshow"]
    Then the Visual editor will display a rectangle that represents the slideshow. Clicking on the rectangle will fetch the edit icon. You click the icon, drag the images to change their order, click Update Gallery, click Update (post).

    justpi, Thank you so much. You’re method works a treat. I can now stop rushing around the web page like a metaphorical headless chicken. Never thought I would become ‘old school’ in the world of blog :-)

    Hi there,

    is there a posibility to order the images according to date and time? That would be much easier than bring them in order via drag and drop
