How do you edit the left sidebar on the home page of the Suburbia theme?

  How do you edit the left sidebar in the Suburbia theme? The sample site in the themes Showcase shows it with additional widgets in this sidebar, but I can’t find any option to add these in hte usual way, by going to the Widgets menu

  You can select to view the deafault menu or create your own menu in the ‘Menu’ page. Simply select what you want from the drop-down menu…
