When using custom styles in with the CSS upgrade you are not editing any specific file. You are creating your own style sheet which is applied to the document after all the originals. This means that using the correct selectors and perhaps use of “!important” you can change anything you like. Your blog is set to private so I can’t take a look but if you have any specific questions then post them here along with the name of the theme you are currently using and I’ll let you know if what you want to do is possible.
