How do you enter code
-
Dear helpful people
This is probably a daft question, but often the the daft question is not asked because people think it is daft question, so don’t ask. So I will.
I keep finding useful things to put onto my sidebar or other places within my wordpress blog from external sites. All look great and provide lovely code for this.
But, where on earth do I place this lovely code? How do I edit my sidebar or anywhere else?
I’m no programmer, just keen to implement change.
Thanks for your help.

Change the
blablablawith your blog’s address, then add TEXT widget where you can put the code there, save settings. For post or page you should use HTML editor when you write.

In general you add Text widgets and paste the code in them. But with WP there are severe restrictions: you can only use plain html codes – no javascript, no flash, no frames, no forms. So many of the “great useful things” you’ve seen may not work.

Guys…thanks so much for your help….I very much appreciate it. I will have a play around and see what I come up with…..Seems like wordpress needs a bit more adaptability in it.
