How do you enter posts on only one page?

Is it possible to have different posts on different pages, but have them all appear on the home page? So far it will only let my have all my posts on one page. So ideally I’d have images on one, articles on another etc but so far I have no idea about how to do that.

Absolutely! In order to do this, you’ll utilize Categories.

http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/categories/Once you’ve assigned your posts’ categories, you can customize your menu so tabs for your categories (ie. articles, images, etc) will appear next to the existing ones (such as About and Contribute).
