How do you find what version of WP you are using?
-
Hello all, Happy Holidays
I am trying to figure out what version of WP I am using? Being VERY new to WP, I am not able to find this.
My blog http://rosevillepropertymanagement.wordpress.com
The reason I ask, is I understand I need to be on a version 2.9 and don’t want to upgrade to a 3.03 (could be a little off on those numbers). I am trying to upload a custom WP theme and I have it in a .zip file (I am also on a MAC) and the version I am on won’t allow me to upload a .zip custom theme
Thanks for your help
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Regardless of what version, here on the free WordPress.COM, you can’t upload/use Custom Themes.

All free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM are running on the latest stable version of wordpress which is 3.0.3. As our blogs are gree hosted Staff takes care of all version upgrades for us – we do nothing.
Why are you asking this question? It’s not relevant to wordpress.com users because we don not have FTP access to our blogs and cannot upload themes or plugins into them. Please see the sticky post at the head of the forum for clarity on the disfferences between free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM and wordpress.ORG isntalls for self hosting. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

Well, it’s a HIGHLY CUSTOMIZED version of that. They are never exactly identical to the versions released by Wp.ORG.
