How do you fix garbled text snippet when you share to Facebook?

    When I share to Facebook, the thumbnail displays but the text snippet is garbled:

    I’m not sure what’s going on – it’s a new problem. I tried disabling the share plugins and copying the URL to share and the same problem occurred. Any thoughts?

    I checked http://politicsanonymous.com/ and I found that site is setup using WordPress software, but it is not hosted here at WordPress.com. See http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ to learn about the differences.

    First, try checking to see if it happens for just one post or all posts. That would rule out an issue with the post itself. Next, try disabling all other plugins, not just the sharing ones, and test again. If you have made any recent changes or updates to your theme, you may also want to try temporarily switching to the default theme and testing again to rule out any theme conflicts.

    Can you please ask in the forums if you need further help with that blog? Support for WordPress.org blogs is done at http://wordpress.org/support/ Make sure to include all the details you posted here and all the steps you tried already. I would recommend posting the exact steps you’re taking to share to Facebook too.
