How do you get more traffic to your blog?
-
I don’t have that much traffic on my blog, and have less than 1,000 visitors on my blog, and not that many views. Also, I try to used Google Analytics, but I unable to fully registered on mobile because it’s zoomed in. So, I try Google Search Console, and I needed to verify, but I need to pay for it. Do I need to pay for Google Search Console in order to get more traffic, then verify it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, neither Google Analytics or Google Search Console send you traffic. They report the traffic your site gets.

Google Search Console is completely free—you don’t need to pay to verify your site or get more traffic. The easiest way to verify is by adding a TXT record to your domain’s DNS settings or uploading an HTML file. If you’re having trouble, your hosting provider might have a guide on how to do it.
Since you’re getting under 1,000 visitors, you might want to track which pages are actually getting traffic. A lightweight alternative to Google Analytics is Traffic Monitor (https://wordpress.org/plugins/traffic-monitor/), which logs visits directly in your WordPress admin without requiring setup or external accounts. It can help you see if search engines are crawling your pages properly and which posts get the most engagement.
For increasing traffic, focus on optimizing your content for search intent and improving site speed. A caching plugin like FlyingPress (https://flyingpress.com) and using Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/) for DNS and CDN can help load times, which can improve rankings over time.
