How do you get off putting ads on my blog without my permission?

  When did wordpress decide to put ads on my blog? Did you not think it necessary to check with the blog creator first? How do I go about deleting my blog from WP, since I don’t want your ads on my site, and I don’t believe it will generate your ridiculous premium rate of $99 per year.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Ads have been here since 2006 or so – you agreed to but did not read the Terms of Service that clearly states that WordPress.COM reserves the right to display ads on your blog – that is part of how they pay the bills and the cost of providing you a blog

  Yep, I admit it, I didn’t read the small print, and have only recently noticed ads. Hmmm.

  However, they did NOT provide the blog. The multi-years of work in my blog is mine. They did provide the hosting for it, granted.

  I’m not quite sure how I’ll proceed, but I will remove the blog from the WP site. Just not quite sure how to do it, yet.
