How do you get paid to blog on WordPress?
-
Hi there,
Why aren’t WordAds appearing on my site? I thought we enabled it to appear. It’s been 2 days.
The way WordAds and other advertising services work is through a marketplace where advertisers bid on a batch of sites. It can take some time for a site to get picked up in that marketplace. Your site also won’t show ads to you if you’re logged in as an administrator. You’ll want to wait a week or two and check from another browser, or a private/incognito browser window.

I Googled, “how to activate WordAds on WordPress?”, and it says that you need Premium plan, and Jetpack Security. I have a Business plan, and Jetpack. How do you tell if WordAds is active on my site?

Hi there @linkxpeach,
I’ve checked your site stats and can confirm that WordAds is active.
Keep in mind that:
- Ads are only shown when an advertiser bids to display one on a page or post view.
- As the site owner, you may not see ads yourself, especially if you’re logged in, use an ad blocker, or visit the site frequently (advertisers generally don’t target site owners).
You can view or adjust your ad settings anytime here:
Configure WordAds SettingsSince you’re on the WordPress.com Business plan, you also have access to direct support. If you’d like us to take a closer look, feel free to reach out via the Help Center:

It’s been 2 days, and 2 weeks. No ads are appearing on my site. Is it because of traffic, and content? Could you please checked?

I think an Ad is appearing on my site, but it says something about “the Google Ads could not be found.” How do you get an Ad to appear on your site?

Hi there,
I just checked your website, and I see ads are appearing on your site! See this screenshot I took. Keep creating blog posts, driving traffic to your website, and you will see your revenue start to grow!

Hi @gistmeofficial,
I reviewed fakazamusic.co and this is a self-hosted WordPress site.
While your site may be built on WordPress technology, separate from WordPress.com hosting, we specifically support sites built with WordPress technology hosted on WordPress.com.
For more information about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you can visit this link: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/WordPress.org offers support by answering in threads posted on their forums: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
Let me know if that helps or if you have any other question. -
I went to Private window, and my blog website to see ads on my site, but I didn’t find any. Why?

Hey there @linkxpeach! Thanks for checking in.
We previously followed up by email to help ensure things are taken care of. I’m not sure if you saw that follow-up, so I’ll send a copy of that email momentarily.
Talk to you soon! -
