how do you get ‘recent comments’ to show on home page

Sorry but I don’t know how to get people’s comments to show on my homepage, say under ‘categories’ etc.
I have tried other templates but I’d like to keep with the template that I have at the mo if possible! Any way to get around this?

Add the recent comments widget to the sidebar at appearance > widgets. If you have not yet added any widgets, then what you are seeing is a theme generated sample display of widgets, so when you add a widget, the sample set will disappear. Just add the widgets that you want back into the sidebar.

Oh yea I was there in the Appearance page and what you just mentioned did happen to me – I moved the recent comments widget, refreshed and found that i’d lost everything else. Cool I shall try that in the morning after I get some much needed sleep!
