How do you get someone to stop harassing you?

  She keeps changing her email, so nothing will go to spam. Is there a way to block things coming from her IP address? 65.101.8.145

  Why can’t she just get a life?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Copy the IP address then go to Settings > Discussion on your Dashboard and there’s a field called “Comment Blacklist”. Paste or enter the IP Address there and save your settings. That shoul cause any comments from that IP to automatically be marked as spam.

  IP addresses are a poor way to block someone because they are no longer unique, and if they reboot their broadband modem, they would likely end up with a different IP address. They can also try posting from a wi-fi hotspot.

  Block the user by email address, username and if they include a website address, that also.

  If they use the same keywords, you can use those to block as well.

  Blocking this coming from her IP address may also block other people’s comments, though.

  If she’s got a short fuse, you can set comments on the blog to Moderation for a few days. That should be enough to piss her off enough that she goes elsewhere. Egotists can’t LIVE without seeing their names on someone else’s blogs. Uh, I read that somewhere.
