How do you get the option to like posts on the main blog page?

I have free WordPress blogs and I was wondering how to get the option to like posts on the regular, front page that all the posts load on. See these blogs for what I mean.

On the Sharing Settings page, select that the buttons should appear on index and front pages as well as blog posts.
