How do you get your site to display all of the widgets that you want?

  I am having trouble adding a follow button to my widgets on my sidebar. I was able to find “follow” and customize but it just wont show up on my sidebar. It has these arrows “<, >” and active widgets have the up and down arrows. Thanks!
