How do you hide the number of plays on a embedded soundcloud player?

    I want to hide the little icon that lists the number of plays on the bottom right of embedded sound cloud player on my blog.

    Does anyone know how to do this?

    I have tried the link below but it does not seem to work anymore.

    I a fairly new to this so I might be doing it wrong. If anyone has succeed at hiding the number of plays recently would you be kind enough to provide a complete newbie guide.

    I couldn’t find a way to do that here http://en.support.wordpress.com/audio/soundcloud-audio-player/ I also searched and came up with no results. I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance because I do not know how to help you. Another Volunteer may answer prior to Staff but I tagged the thread so it will not fall through the cracks and escape attention.     Hi there,

    I think you can do this by adding the parameter “&show_playcount=false” to your soundcloud url. See the example below:

    [soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/143851648" params="color=ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_playcount=false" width="100%" height="166" iframe="true" /]

    Found the solution based off what Rachelsquirrel suggested.

    You have to put ‘&show_playcount=false’ directly after ‘hide_related’ – any other order it won’t work for some reason.

    This is so awesome! Thank you both Rachelsquirrel and Timethief – this makes a massive difference to the blog I’m setting up.
