How do you increase # of posts on main page?

  I think the question is self-explanatory, but I can’t figure it out. Right now, I only show my 6 most recent posts, but I would like to expand that number to 10-12, but I can’t find the option. I’ve searched everything and I’m sure I’m missing something, but your help would be greatly appreciated.

  Go to your Dashboard -> Options -> Reading -> under Blog pages, change the number of __ post you want to appear in your blog then click update option (of course).
