how do you increase the height of HTML Block
-
I have inserted a HTML block to link to a booking system and the box it is displayed in, is small. I would like it to be full size of the page.

Hi there! I believe you’re working on the Business plan site at bearemillcamping.co.uk, but to be sure, could you pass us a link to the page or post you are applying the HTML block to?
Once we have that we’ll take a look to see how we can help. :)

Thanks for that!
According to InnStyle’s developer documentation, the calendar embed should auto-expand without any adjustments.
Since you don’t have the calendar active – it’s currently showing the “This accommodation has currently deactivated guest booking.” notice. It’s quite possible the calendar embed works fine and they may not have the deactivated message autoexpand in the same fashion.
To test, I tried their demo calendar (the code is on that above support doc) on my test site in the HTML block and it expanded without any issue:
<a href="//developer.innstyle.co.uk/calendar.js">//developer.innstyle.co.uk/calendar.js</a> <script>InnStyle('demobb')</script>Screenshot of the embed: https://d.pr/i/JNt4LB
Therefore the calendar embed should expand the height automatically in the HTML block according to my testing. If you activate your booking calendar and it’s still not expanding properly, I would reach out to InnStyle support to see why your calendar isn’t embedding like their demo. It looks like you can reach out to their support by clicking the orange circle in the lower right of the page to start a conversation with them. I’d also mention their “deactivated” message doesn’t auto expand, so they should fix that on their end so that also embeds properly.
If there is something specific you need to do on WordPress.com, please let us know!
Thanks!

1. You’ll only see that when logged in, regular visitors won’t see that.
2. This one you’ll need to check with the embed provider on. We can only display what they provide.

Hello ,
Thank you for the information.
Re: the second point. I didn’t make it clear. I meant for the whole website now it is finished, if you look at it on a iPhone you can see the home page but the menu doesn’t work to look at a different page. I am not sure how to fix this?
Thanks, Karen

That’s working properly for me on an iPhone 12 running iOS 14.4.2.
Which version of iOS are you running?

Hello,
Yes you are right, we checked both our iphone’s and it works now.
Thanks for all your help over the last week.
Many Thanks,
Karen
