How do you know WHICH product the PayPal button is referring to on your website?
-
I have successfully created a PayPal button on my website, PaintDrinkCreate.com, on the Calendar demo page. I played with the PayPal options on their website. What I cannot figure out is how to tie the PayPal purchase to a specific item on my website. I am trying to switch from my paid calendar vendor to a list of my painting classdates with PayPal purchase buttons. However, I cannot figure out how to tie a button to a specific class. using the PayPal button integration. Thank you.

Hello there.
If you’re attempting to create true e-commerce capability on your site, you may want to look into the Business upgrade, as it gives you more options when it comes to purchasing:
On free, WordPress.com-hosted sites (like theresapaints.wordpress.com) you can get creative and use the combination of a contact form and a PayPal button.

If you choose the PayPal button/Contact form route, remember that you can only sell goods and services produced, created, and personally provided by you.
