How do you move your posts to a different page?

    Please excuse me as I am new to blogging. I had hoped to have a sort of home page – static, and then a separate page where the actual posts are. Is that possible through word press and if so, how is it done? Thanks :)

    Ember, depending on whether your theme supports it, you can make your front page a static page by visiting the WP Admin page.

    In the left-hand column you’ll see “Appearance”. Click or hover over Appearance, then select “Customize”.

    There should now be an option in the right hand column of the Customize page that says “Front”. Click that.

    Under “Front page displays” select the static page you wish to use as your front page.

    Under “Posts page” select the page you plan on using for your blog posts.

    Also, don’t forget to click “Save” at the bottom right corner of the Customize page when you’re done!
