How do you post a text link without showing URL?
-
This is an ancient question I can’t find an answer anywhere on here for….
I understand how to post a link within the body of text on a blog like http:///emerdelac.wordpress.com
But how do I post the link without showing the URL, so that only ‘here’ is highlighted in blue as a link that leads to the address? I’ve tried using the Insert Link tool in the text editor, but there is no option that I can find. just the thing that puts ‘here’ as the title that popups up when you hold your mouse over the URL.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

General link model:
Highlighted anchor text hereYou type in the anchor text first, select (highlight it) wirth your mouse and wiat for the pop-up box. Then you enter the URL and the title and click insert.
Do note that “here” and/or “click here” is not a wise choice. Why send Google juice to “here”? The rule of thumb is to use the actual title or relevant keywords in text the article you link to as the anchor text.
