How do you post entries remotely?

I am a new user who just migrated to wordpress from blogger. blogger allows you to post entries using yr email address. Does wordpress allow you to do so as well?
pls let me know if there are other tools to allow you to post entries w/o having to log into wordpress to do so.

Welcome to wordpress. Is it possible for you to use the forum search box? I hope so because it’s a treasure trove full of answers to questions exactly like this one which comes up frequently. And also because it’s a holiday.
The answer is ‘no’ not yet but here are some tools you can use:
Performancing extension for firefox

or the WordPress Gadget
http://wordpress.com/gadgets/
Blogdesk, Bloggar, Windows Live Writer and Writely also work. You can post photos from flickr directly. :)
This will introduce you to some basic wordpress resources.
