How do you purchase a wordpress blog theme without a wordpress blog account?

  WordPress is the only place I have found the particular theme that I want to purchase. However, it doesn’t seem that I can purchase it because I do not have a wordpress blog account, hence there is no “site” to upload it to. I just want to download it to my computer. How can I do this?

  Which specific theme do you want to purchase? Some developers make their premium themes available to download for self-hosted sites elsewhere.

  If you don’t intend to host the site here at WordPress.com, don’t purchase the theme here, as you will not be able to use it anywhere else. Themes purchased at WordPress.com will only work on a WordPress.com site.
