    This seems much harder to use than typepad in many cases, how on earth do you use the embed code in a post and why are there not instructions in plain site, not real happy with this function I can tell you

    I’m so sorry that you’re having problems!

    You can embed many things into your WordPress.com blog, ranging from Videos such as YouTube, Google VIdeo, to Google Documents or Calendars. You can see a list here. It’s also worth nothing that you can embed videos from sources not on this list by using Vodpod.

    It is, however, true that there are certain embeds stripped out for security reasons, such as those containing flash or javascript. This is explained in our support documentation.
