How do you REALLY place an image into a sidebar?

  Blogging 101 – 1st Weekend

  What a pitiful lack of results. Just can’t get the pic in the sidebar widget. I can get the pic into the library (4x) and I can get to the first window with file name and stats and the form for the URL, title, caption, etc. But the Support Page on Widgets and Sidebars, Widgets, image widget, doesn’t REALLY say where to go from there. Or how.
  QUESTION: Intro remarks by Support say must post to Word Press first. I cannot find how. So, if this is a must, HOW?
  Where the instructions go from the form mentioned above is “Table of Contents” and Settings, Appearance-Widgets.
  From there I’m lost. I never get the next form shown in the instructions.
  I take it that the URL found from Library, edit pic, is the correct one. I can find no other. It is jpg. When I post this expecting it to become a picture, all I get is the URL. Not useful.

  Wow! I must be going insane, because this just keeps me going in circles.

  What do I do?

  OH, SAY: Blog url mentioned below this window has me as hwbrycethewriter. That was my initial free free site that I never mastered. I bought the domain name as hwbrycewrites.com for me real site. So what does on there? One Blogging 101 fellow student found my hwbrycethewriter site, and was misinformed. Need a helping word here, too.

  We Volunteers here have enough to cope with as is, and that’s why Staff have a private support site for those involved in Blogging 10. I suspect you will get a response there tomorrow.
