How do you remove the "Leave a Reply" section?

  I found the screen options section at the top right side of the editing tool. The Discussion and Comments section is unchecked but the “Leave a reply” section is still showing. How can I remove it? I don’t want anyone to leave a reply on any of my pages.

  To remove the comments option you’ll first want to turn comments off at Settings > Discussion in your Dashboard. Then, at Settings > Discussion, also set the “Automatically close comments…” option to 1 day. That will remove the comments from all of your posts.

  For some pages you’ll need to edit the page and, in your screen options, make sure the Discussion module is checked. Then, just uncheck the two options in the module and update your page.

  How do you remove the comments option? When I got to Settings > Discussion, it doesn’t give me any options to remove. I changes the automatic close comments to 1 day but it is still appearing on my pages. I also added and removed the discussion manual on each page.

  What you check in the Screen Options tabs only shows or hides the commenting options on the post or page edit screen. You’ll need those options shown (checked) to disable comments on the post or page you’re editing.
