How do you remove the space between the navigation menu and the main content?
-
As you can see, I followed directions to get rid of the title of the main front page, so I’m not sure if that’s why all the CSS codes that I have tried aren’t working. Anyways, I would like the main content of the page to be closer to the navigation menu so that there isn’t so much blank space.
I’m using the Hemingway Rewritten themeThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi.
You have a margin to the top of 100px in your content area, what means there are 100px from your content to your navigation menu. You can modify this value to fit with what you would like. Here it is the Custom CSS Code to add to divide this gap by 2 (50px):
.site-content {margin-top: 50px}I hope this helps you. Enjoy blogging!

For someone like myself who has 0 css experience, how would you go about this step-by-step?
Also, do you need to pay for the customization thing to be able to do this? If so, are there cheaper versions available for students?
Thanks!!!!

Hi @ellidn.
Yes, in fact you need custom design feature (https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/).
