My wordpress blog does not send contact emails
If a user has followed your site, and they’ve opted to receive your new post notifications via email, they will receive an email.
This is how following/email subscriptions work on your site:

If you are hoping to create your own contact form on your site to collect emails to create a private emailing list, you can set that up in the manner:

Exactly I already have a contact form that a former employee created about a year ago. The form has worked great without a problem until yesterday when client filled out forms were not making it to my email. I tested this a few times myself and I did not receive the resulting forms. Then I tried it again a couple of hours ago and all of a sudden it works again……..Do we know why this happened?

Nothing appears to have come up on our end that would cause these emails not to be sent to you. You can, however, see if anything was missed by going to your site’s Dashboard and clicking Feedback → Feedback. Or, you can simply click the link below:

All of the data from your contact forms can be viewed on that page.
