How do you start a chat session?

Okay, I followed the instructions, went to my Dashboard, there was no chat session option a that bottom as the instructions said. Honestly, I could be on the wrong Dashboard, as there seem to be so many different screens,

Would be nice if the instructions page included that bit of information. Other than the forum, how do you contact these people? I have a question about my account, not something I want to post on a forum.

Thank you. Yes, you did say personal email support, but did not provide the email address. I have search all over the place for that address, everywhere I have gone sends me either to here or to the chat instructions. Nowhere that I have been gave an email address.
Thus far, as a newbie, I am very disappointed at the layout of the site, out of date pages/links, lack of support information, and missing information. This is not an easy site to navigate. Took me a while to realize that I had two accounts – my base account, and a separate account for the blog itself.

Understood – now.
If all you intend to do is vent about things about things you don’t like then nothing will be achieved by either posting here or by emailing Staff. However, if you are solution focused then I advise stating exactly what you need help with in clear and unequivocal terms.
Lastly, note that getting support here in the peer support forums from Volunteers like myself, raincoaster and others, who have been answering questions here for years longer than support Staff have even been on Staff usually takes hours, but getting support by email form Staff usually takes days.

I understand the benefits of support forums, I moderate one myself. However, there are times when the question asked requires personal information that should not be posted on open forums. For those times, easy access to a support person via email, chat, or phone, is necessary.
I was not ranting, if it came across that way then I am sorry. I was expressing frustration over not being able to easily find the afore mentioned email address, and the confusing setup of the site. As I stated, for a newbie it is not self-evident that there are two different “home” pages / dashboards – one for the account and one for the blog. I understand that now, but it took a while.
