How do you upload a plugin?

  How do you upload a plugin? What I read was to click plugin and choose new to upload it to my site. I don’t see plugin on my menu.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Plugins are not supported at WordPress.com. If there’s a plugin you absolutely need you’ll want to check out WordPress.org for info on hosting your own WordPress install. :-)

  Thanks, I think. I’m logged in to my wp-admin dashboard on my site. I don’t see “plugins” on the left side bar. I downloaded a few to my laptop- how do I install them on my site? The article/ instructions that I’m reading says to click “Plugins> New”

  Plugins are not offered on blogs hosted at WordPress.com, which is why you can’t see them.
