How do you use this widget?

I know this is probably not the place to ask this but I’m desperate. I have a Picometer word counter on my blog and no earthly idea how to change the wordcount. As it is, it’s just sat there being utterly useless. I’ve looked on the web page but its like reading a foreign language.
So if anyone can please point me in the right direction or post simple instructions I’d be so grateful.Thank you in advance.
